What is Rugged Vs. Premier Leather?
Our Premier line are the best, hand selected, pieces of leather. They will feature few to no marks and will be even tone throughout the entire piece.
Our Rugged line will include leather that displays wrinkles, fat lines, barbed wire scars, and other natural marks made during the life of the cow. Each one will be a unique work of art and will display the words “Rugged Edition” below the Murdy Logo
Built to work with the classic mini legal pad (5"x8"), A5 spiral notebooks (8.25"x5.75"), softcover A5 journals, and folded letter size paper, this folio uses a slot in the back cover to hold the writing pad securely in place. Alternatively, slip the back cover of A5 notebooks into the left side full writing pocket.
Each of our Murdy No. 3 folios will come with a pre-installed writing pad as well as a stainless steel and gold trim Parker Jotter. Hardcover backed in 8-9 oz water buffalo leather, the writing pad has a firm feel in hand.
