Our Signature Collection is a special group of products that are used by Colin Murdy everyday. Crafted from chrome-tanned walnut brown American bison, with a varied deep grain pattern, these pieces are more durable and less prone to wear due to the unique surface of the leather.

Designed as a lightweight, compact writing cover, our Pocket Cut is made for notes, ideas, and everyday carry. Compatible with 3.5"×5.5" saddle-stitched softcover notebooks, its slim profile makes it easy to take with you wherever you go. Our custom rod binding construction securely holds the insert in place while allowing it to be easily removed and replaced.

Our Pocket Cut Murdy No. 7 Refillable Leather Cover is created for the writer, traveler, office, and everyone else. These beautiful and durable 5-7 oz. full-grain leather covers will serve you well for years to come. Laser engrave an inscription into the front cover for even more customization.

Created with the busy writer in mind, our cover uses an innovative, rod binding construction, to allow for any 3.5" x 5.5" saddle stitched softcover notebook refill.

Our Signature Collection Pocket Cut Murdy No. 7 includes a pre-installed lined insert, with the option to add a Parker Jotter with stainless steel and gold trim.

About Our Leather

Our leather is 6–8 oz. full-grain cowhide, chrome and oil tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Infused with a natural wax blend throughout the hide, it is waterproof, low in water absorption, and virtually maintenance-free. Liquids bead up and roll off rather than soaking in.

Our leather will naturally develop a rich patina over time through exposure to air, sunlight, natural oils, and everyday use. If needed, it can be cleaned with a soft, damp microfiber cloth, while saddle soap can be used to remove heavier dirt and help condition the leather. Thanks to the leather’s natural oils and waxes, most light surface scratches can simply be buffed out using the warmth of your finger.

As a natural material, each piece is one of a kind and may feature unique markings and characteristics.
