A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER
When I began this company is 2018, I did it because I was committed to making products that were the best in the market, and were made to the highest quality standard possible. For years we have worked tirelessly on this, and through your support the company has flourished.
The last two years have brought skyrocketing prices on virtually every aspect of the business, from materials and shipping to labor. I have done everything I could to keep our retail prices down. While this lead to some exciting new ideas, it also had us compromising on quality amongst other things. For this I am sorry.
I cannot continue to compromise the product. I will not. It’s not fair to you as the customer. We are making serious changes for the better. Every part of our products is going to be improved and we are doubling down on our promise to be the best quality possible. To this end we will need to raise our prices significantly.
This price increase will allow us to restore some of the compromises we made earlier to the product as well as offer many more improvements. It will allow us to further offer the best white glove customer service to ensure that any problem can be resolved for you. It will fuel new innovation and allow us to launch exciting new products.
I have always believed that even expensive luxury should be accessible to everyone, so we are also going to be offering payment plans through Shop Pay and other similar firms. This will make it possible to split up the cost of the product over several months.
My unwavering goal is to ensure that every product with the Murdy name is undeniably the best design, made from the best materials, with the best customer support team behind it. To make this happen we will be raising our prices significantly at the end of October. We appreciate all of you who have supported us and will continue to support us in this great mission.
