Made in the USA using oil infused chrome tanned cowhide, this limited edition leather features a plum purple base, light pull-up contrasts, and a vivid purple suede backing.

The 5x7 Cut Murdy No. 7 Refillable Leather Cover is created for the writer, traveler, office, and everyone else. These beautiful and durable full grain leather covers will serve you well for years to come. Laser engrave an inscription into the front cover for even more customization.

Created with the busy writer in mind, our cover uses an innovative, rod binding construction, to allow for any 5" x 7" saddle stitched composition style softcover notebook refill.

About Our Leather

Our leather is 6–8 oz. full-grain cowhide, chrome and oil tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Infused with a natural wax blend throughout the hide, it is waterproof, low in water absorption, and virtually maintenance-free. Liquids bead up and roll off rather than soaking in.

Our leather will naturally develop a rich patina over time through exposure to air, sunlight, natural oils, and everyday use. If needed, it can be cleaned with a soft, damp microfiber cloth, while saddle soap can be used to remove heavier dirt and help condition the leather. Thanks to the leather’s natural oils and waxes, most light surface scratches can simply be buffed out using the warmth of your finger.

As a natural material, each piece is one of a kind and may feature unique markings and characteristics.

All our leather is backed by our 120 year warranty.
