Our Limited Edition Gator leather, available in limited quantities. Tanned and embossed in the USA, this chrome-tanned cowhide is transformed with a deep alligator pattern, pressed under tons of force for a lasting impression, and hand-painted for a rich finish.

The Stationery Cut Murdy No. 7 Refillable Leather Cover is created for the writer, traveler, office, and everyone else. Laser engrave an inscription into the front cover for even more customization.

Created with the busy writer in mind, our cover uses an innovative, rod binding construction, to allow for up to 30 sheets of 8.5" x 11" 24lb paper. It is compatible with A4 metric paper and A5 Softcover inserts (like Leuchtturm1917) up to 3/8 in thick or roughly 125 pages.

About Our Leather

Our leather is 6–8 oz. full-grain cowhide, chrome and oil tanned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Infused with a natural wax blend throughout the hide, it is waterproof, low in water absorption, and virtually maintenance-free. Liquids bead up and roll off rather than soaking in.

Our leather will naturally develop a rich patina over time through exposure to air, sunlight, natural oils, and everyday use. If needed, it can be cleaned with a soft, damp microfiber cloth, while saddle soap can be used to remove heavier dirt and help condition the leather. Thanks to the leather’s natural oils and waxes, most light surface scratches can simply be buffed out using the warmth of your finger.

As a natural material, each piece is one of a kind and may feature unique markings and characteristics.
